This
may
in
fact
be
the
original
website
of
Long
Island
Vettes.
However
the
webmaster
of
this
site,
Richard
Shields,
is no
longer
a
board
member
of
the
club
and
refuses
to
update,
change
or
modify
the
content
at
the
request
of
the
current
Board
of
Directors.
He
also
refuses
to
allow
the
current
Board
access
to
the
site
to
make
necessary
changes
and
updates.
Therefore
this
site
has
now
become
a
"rogue"
site
and
is no
longer
associated
to
"Long
Island
Vettes".
A
new
OFFICIAL
site
has
been
created
named
www.LongIslandVettes.org
where
all
members
of
the
club
should
now
access
for
OFFICIAL
and
UP TO
DATE
information.
The
Board
of
Directors
of
Long

Vettes
is in
discussions
with
the
host
of
this
rogue
site
to
have
it
shut
down.
Since
Mr.
Shields
has
total
control
of
this
site
I'm
not
certain
this
message
will
remain
here
too
long
since
he
has
the
power
to
delete
anything
at
his
discression.
Again,
the
OFFICIAL
website
of
Long
Island
Vettes
is www.LongIslandVettes.org
Thank
you

To
the
board
It
just
hit
me
that
after
this
snow
storm,
if
the
library
didn't
close,
there
would
have
been
an
election
of
just
a few
people.
This
could
have
been
good
for
one
of
the
nominees,
where
a
possible
10
people
could
have
voted
in a
new
VP.
What
would
happen
next
month
if
some
members
were
stuck
at
work
or
the
train
was
delayed
or
just
can't
make
the
meeting
in
April.
Would
it be
fair?
So it
seems
that
we
are
right
back
to
where
we
started.
A few
members
can
make
a
decision
for
the
whole
membership.
I
feel
all
members
should
have
their
vote
counted
by a
mail-in-ballot.
When
the
opinion
poll
was
counted
there
was a
decision
the
have
an
election.
Lou
said
that
the
board
would
come
up
with
our
first
rule
who
can
be
nominated
(have
to
attend
a
certain
amount
of
meetings
or
amount
of
shows
or
some
kind
of
rule)
and
run
it
passed
the
membership
but
that
didn't
happen.
Also
there
are
no
minutes
posted
and
no
mention
of an
election
on
the
web
site
(until
this
Monday
since
the
library
was
closed
there
will
be
an
election
next
month)
or
the
opinion
poll
results
saying
there
was
even
going
to be
an
election.
Like
I
said
before
it
seems
like
we
are
right
back
to
where
we
started
back
in
November
where
a few
members
make
a
decision
for
the
whole
membership
and
that's
not
what
it
was
intended
to
be.
Since
the
whole
membership
is
not
involved
in an
election
and
the
results
could
vary
depending
on
which
members
make
the
meeting
on
that
certain
day.
I
would
like
to
retract
my
acceptance
for a
nominated
board
position.
I am
glad
to
see
that
the
club
is
having
an
election
but
do
not
agree
with
the
way
it is
handled.
I
would
like
to
wish
John
DiFilippi
and
Ralph
Marigliano
luck
in
the
up
coming
election.

One
question
if
there

no

this

as
you
said
in

with
the
official

are
you
still

Acting

Since
neither

are

shouldn't
the

move

Maybe
Carol
should
move

Rich
Fingerhut
move

in
